Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation has developed an Industrial Area on 321.89 hectares of land at Tembhurni.

The land came under MIDC`s possession in the year 1994 and the development work started in 1996. The Industrial Area is under development as a Growth Centre and all infrastructure facilities are likely to be provided to this Industrial Area.

Water: Water is drawn from the backwaters of Ujani Dam (On Bhima River) about 8 km. from the area. It is taken through a 400 mm. diameter PSC pipe line and further taken to a treatment plant and after treatment, stored in ESR with a capacity of 600 cum.
